Right now work is being done "behind the scenes", meaning that I'm busy writing the database driven backend for the site.

2006-08-27: It's not dead (although a year of apparent inactivity would rightfully make you think so). 2005-09-06: Yes, I'm still working on it. Contrary to what it might look like. Finishing up the registration process today. I'm just waiting for my host to get back to me on issues I'm having with sendmail. I've also been working on the main thing about the site, adding movies and flashlights found in the same. It's coming along nicely me thinks. This is taking way longer than I had anticipated, mainly because I'm a bit of a detail minded person... but also because of work which I don't really have much control over.
2005-08-29: Yay for overtime and weekend work... Aaaanyways, worked on how to add movies today. I'm gonna go with what I think is the easiest for you, the users. First look up the movie on IMDb, copy the url for the movie/tv-show you want to add to this page. The script will then fetch all the info it needs (such as the title, production year and cover) from IMDb and add it to the database. You will then be able to add flashlight sightings to the movie/tv-show. This will also help protect against duplicate entries due to different spelling and different names for the same movie in different countries.
The function to fetch said data has been written and I will now create the page for adding flashlights. It's going slow but atleast there's progress, right? I wonder if anyone is actually reading this... 2005-08-23: I'm truly sorry about the lack of progress here. But, work is hell right now with overtime everyday. I have however managed to get the registration done (not online here yet) and have started work on registration of new movies/shows. So there's progress, but it's slow due to the situation mentioned above. Again, I'm sorry.
2005-08-14: Been working on getting the database set up and making registration/login pages. I'm a bit rusty but it's coming along nicely me thinks :) Will be a while untill you guys will see anything of value though. Again I'm sorry that it's taking so bloody long.
2005-08-12: Sorry I haven't done much work on the page. Work has been nuts this week... Simply haven't had the energy. This wasn't exactly what I had planned :( I'll make up for it this weekend though :)
2005-08-09: Sketched up most of the database structure now. Will probably need to add more later but as it stands now we're looking at 7 tables for the database. Not too bad.
